The Client

The Fiji Higher Education Commission (FHEC), is a body corporate established under Section 5 of the Higher Education Promulgation 2008, with the major mandated functions to register and regulate the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and the programmes they deliver through its Recognition, Registration and Accreditation processes as of 20th January, 2017.

The Environment

FHEC had 4 servers and approximately 53 machines all running windows operating system (win7/win10, 32bit/64bit). Email solution is running on Office 365(cloud). Required an antivirus solution where they can pull updates in one server and distribute it to all the clients instead of each client updating on its own via internet.

The Solution

NK2IT suggested SEP (Symantec Endpoint Protection) version 14
 SEP 14 runs on desktops as well as servers without OS limitations
Ease of manageability as administrator can manage all the endpoints via single console

Smooth installation of all AV licenses on required PCs and Servers
Speed for PCs & Servers have been significantly improved along with network equipment
Management becomes simple and less time consuming
